We love eating a meal that is packed full of nutrients for breakfast. It’s the best way to start things off and make sure you’re getting the most out of your day. We also love eating a healthy breakfast that’s delicious too.

Porridge has been a breakfast favorite for generations, and for good reason. Oats are a great source of fiber, iron, and magnesium. If you add in raw cacao powder, chia seeds, and grapefruit, you get the added benefits of antioxidants and an energy and metabolism boost as well. So you can’t go wrong!

This cacao oatmeal recipe is a favorite of one of our very own Slimtum team members, and is delicious, easy and full of all the good stuff!

What you’ll need:

3-4 tbsp. of oats
1 tbsp. raw cacao powder
1 tsp. of chia seeds
1/2 sweet grapefruit
Vanilla flavored almond milk

How to make it:

Step 1.
Mix the oats, cacao powder, and milk together in a bowl.

Step 2.
Cook in the microwave for 2 minutes. (This is a quicker and easier alternative for the morning!)

Step 3.
Mix the oatmeal again.
Slice up the grapefruit and place the chunks on one side of the bowl.
Sprinkle the chia seeds on the other half of the bowl.

This bowl also works wonderfully with raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries on top as well!

Delicious and Insta-worthy! There’s a reason this recipe is a fave.
